16 March: Day 17 – Nantwich to Bebington and High Killerby

Narrowboats moored at Bunbury, Cheshire

Left Nantwich with Phil to visit Ellesmere Port and the National Waterways Museum.  On the way visited the Bunbury Mill and narrowboats and lock gates.

Toad in the Hole at the Bridge Hotel, near Bunbury.

Stopped off at the Bridge Hotel to eat Toad in the Hole.  Huge lunch especially after eating a very large breakfast.  Delicious, but the gravy was too salty.

Locks at Ellesmere Port Waterways Museum

Ellesmere Port  Waterways Museum was full of locks, weirs and narrowboats too.

Kemal's S.O.B and angular bath.

Visited Kemal’s place in Bebington.  Loved his S.o.B and unusual shaped bath.

Kemal, Derek and Pat at Bebington

Left Derek with a couple of projects – especially to find more information about the Nigerian in the family.  Phil and I have already started a Nigerian scam and it is all ready to go should we receive a positive answer.

Drove to Scarborough area of Yorkshire to spend a weekend at a place called Killerby Old Hall holiday cottages in High Killerby.
